Boilermakers- are like specialised welders. They work in the heavy engineering industry. The job of a Boilermaker is to make boilers, engines and high pressure-vessels. TRADE TEST QUALIFICATION – On the completion of this qualification, a successful candidate can obtain a trade test qualification in industry.

Boilermakers can work in factories, power stations, on oil rigs, petrol refineries, chemical companies, on the mines, in the shipbuilding industry.

Admission Requirements:

N1 Level: Passed Grade 9 & 10 

N2 Level: Passed Grade 10 & 11 

N3 level:

1) National Certificate (Matric) or its equivalent qualification with a pass in the following subjects:
English language level 3 (40% above) Pure Mathematics level 3 (40% above) Physical Science level 3 (40% above) 

2) Have passed N2
